Two days later and the legs still don't feel quite right after Sundays heat exhaustive race at Swanson. Of course the next day the temps have dropped 30 degrees making it just about perfect.
One thing I've learned to do over the years is listen to my body. I didn't even really feel like riding yesterday. So when I got on the bike and felt like my legs just didn't want to go I wasn't that surprised. I tried to take the heart rate up but after I while I just slipped back into what was a pretty easy pace through the Ponca Hills. No big deal, recovery is the most important thing you can do.
Wednesday Worlds is tonight, hopefully it doesn't rain. fingers crossed.
